Description:

O-methyl benzoyl chloride is produced from o-methyl benzoic acid. It is mainly used in the synthesis of pesticides, pharmaceuticals and organic chemical raw materials, and is currently the main raw material for the production of the herbicide rice without grass. It has the property of white flammable prismatic crystal or needle crystal. It is usually slightly soluble in water, easily soluble in ethanol, ether and chloroform. In the pesticide industry, it is used to produce o-amid bacterial benzyl fungicide and micron herbicide.
